1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to NexxGenEdu. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our educational platform, services, and website. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
These Terms apply to all users, including students, parents/guardians, and visitors to our platform. For students under 18, parental consent is required for enrollment and continued participation.
2. Description of Services
NexxGenEdu provides educational services including:
- Professional foundation courses in Law, Medicine, Business, and Coding
- Pre-professional exam preparation (LSAT, MCAT, GMAT)
- One-on-one tutoring and professional guidance
- Professional school application review and guidance
- Public speaking and oral advocacy training
- Mentorship programs with industry professionals
- AI-driven learning tools and assessments
- Online learning platform and course materials
3. User Accounts and Registration
To access our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or inappropriate behavior.
4. Payment Terms and Refund Policy
Tuition and Fees: Our current tuition is $2,950 for the full academic year, with a $450 registration fee due upon enrollment. The remaining balance of $2,500 is payable in four installments throughout the school year.
Payment Methods: We accept payments through secure payment processors. All payments are processed in accordance with applicable financial regulations.
Refund Policy: Refunds are available within 30 days of enrollment, subject to a $100 administrative fee. No refunds will be provided after the 30-day period or for completed course materials. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to billing@nexxgenedu.com.
5. Student Conduct and Academic Integrity
Students are expected to maintain high standards of academic integrity and professional conduct. Prohibited behaviors include:
- Plagiarism or academic dishonesty
- Sharing account credentials with others
- Disruptive behavior during classes or sessions
- Harassment or inappropriate communication
- Violation of intellectual property rights
- Attempting to circumvent security measures
Violations may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of services.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All course materials, content, software, and intellectual property on our platform are owned by NexxGenEdu or our licensors. You may not:
- Copy, distribute, or share course materials without permission
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use our content for commercial purposes
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices
Students retain ownership of their original work and assignments, but grant NexxGenEdu a license to use such work for educational and assessment purposes.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of personal information is governed by our
Privacy Notice. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Notice.
We implement appropriate security measures to protect student data and comply with applicable privacy laws including PIPEDA (Canada), GDPR (EU), and COPPA/FERPA (U.S.).
8. AI and Technology Use
NexxGenEdu uses artificial intelligence and other technologies to enhance learning experiences. While we strive for accuracy and fairness, AI systems may have limitations and potential biases. We implement human oversight and quality controls to mitigate these risks.
Students and parents acknowledge that AI-generated content and assessments are tools to support learning and should not be considered as definitive professional advice or guarantees of outcomes.
9. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers
Educational Outcomes: While we strive to provide high-quality education, NexxGenEdu cannot guarantee specific academic or professional outcomes, including admission to specific schools or programs, exam scores, or career success.
Service Availability: We strive to maintain continuous service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for temporary service disruptions due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, NexxGenEdu's liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
Our platform may integrate with third-party services or contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of service of third-party sites. Use of third-party services is at your own risk.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate services with 30 days written notice. We may immediately terminate services for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or other serious misconduct.
Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease, but certain provisions of these Terms (including intellectual property, privacy, and limitation of liability) will survive termination.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Canadian arbitration rules.
For disputes involving amounts under $10,000, we encourage resolution through direct communication and mediation before pursuing formal legal action.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated through email or platform notifications at least 30 days before they take effect.
Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
